Welcome to the 2026–2027 School Year

Goliad High School is a place where tradition, excellence, and opportunity come together, and I am honored to welcome our students, families, staff, and community to the 2026–2027 school year. As principal, I am excited to continue building upon the outstanding academic achievements our students and teachers have worked so hard to accomplish. Together, we will strive to reach new heights while remaining committed to providing every student with the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to succeed.

Our greatest strength is our people. A positive school culture—one built on respect, accountability, kindness, and pride—creates an environment where every student can thrive. We are committed to ensuring that every student's voice is valued and that students have meaningful opportunities to lead, contribute, and shape the future of our school.

The success of Goliad High School has always been rooted in the strong partnership between our school and our community. We are grateful for the unwavering support of our families, businesses, alumni, and community members, whose collaboration helps provide exceptional experiences for our students. Working together, we can continue to create opportunities that prepare our students for success beyond graduation.

This year also brings exciting opportunities as we continue improving our facilities and expanding the learning environment for all students. Combined with a growing variety of academic pathways—including advanced coursework, career and technical education, dual-credit opportunities, and extracurricular learning experiences—our students have more avenues than ever to discover their passions and achieve their goals.

Beyond the classroom, Goliad High School takes tremendous pride in the accomplishments of our students in athletics, FFA, band, and the many organizations that represent our school with excellence. Whether competing on the field, performing on the stage, exhibiting livestock, or excelling in academic competitions, our students demonstrate the determination, character, and Tiger pride that define our school.

As we begin this new school year, I invite each member of our school community to join us in making 2026–2027 our best year yet. Together, we will celebrate our successes, embrace new opportunities, support one another, and continue building a legacy of excellence at Goliad High School.
