Girls Tigerettes tennis win 3rd consecutive district team title

It was a long day and night of district tennis, but well worth it.

The Goliad Tigerette Tennis team won their third consecutive district team title. The Goliad Tigers finished runner-up in the district.

Individually, Goliad finished the day with seven district champions in their respective categories, advancing seven to the regional tournament.

In JV, the boys finished district runner-up as a team.

Girls Singles:

District Champion: Madison Williams

Defeated Lloyd (Luling) 6-4, 6-2 in finals

Boys Doubles:

District Champions: Keagan Kramer/ Noah Blevins

Defeated Arriola /Soto (Karnes City) 6-2, 7-6 (2)

Mixed Doubles:

District Champions: Collin Fisher/ Karolynn Youngblood

Defeated Lerma / Montes (Stockdale) 6-0, 6-2

Girls Doubles:

District Champions: Trinity Henderson / Maevyn Wunsch

Defeated Zepeda / Heathcoe (Stockdale) in a three hour thriller ending at 1:05 a.m. Score: 7-6 (4) , 4-6, 7-6 (1)

JV Results:
