A Sense-less Case film competing in UIL semi-finals

The Goliad High School film “A Sense-less Case” has made it through two rounds of UIL competition with only one more to go before state.

The semi-finals judging begins today with results coming out next week — the last hurdle before the finals in Austin.

“I cannot express how proud I am of the students,” said Jason Collins, film club sponsor. "I just hope the judges agree and these students get a chance to compete in Austin.”

The students’ production is one of the top 18 films statewide in the 3A division.

“I cannot tell you just how many hours, weeks and months they have put into this production. I might be bias but they deserve to be in the top six that make it to the Austin finals.”
