Updated: Two Goliad High athletes are coming home with not just one state championship but two following Thursday’s UIL competition.
Caden Reagan won first placed and the gold medal in discuss with a throw of 177 feet and 11 inches.
Kyla Hill, along with Ashley Wood, would go on to win gold and bronze respectively in the 300-meter hurdles. This is the third year Hill has won the championship in this event.
Hill also won third place in the 100-meter hurdles.

4X1 Girls Relay - 5th place Zamzow, Royster, Howard, Perez
100 Hurdles - Kyla Hill Bronze Medal
4X2 Girls Relay - 4th place Perez, Royster, Howard, Youngblood
300 Hurdles - Kyla - Gold Medal, Ashley Wood - Bronze Medal and Cord Zamzow 7th place
4X4 Girls Relay - 4th place Youngblood, Wood, Zamzow and Hill
