Goliad teams win at Texas FFA Area X contest

Multiple teams from Goliad ISD earned the distinction Wednesday as State Qualifiers after the Area X contest.

Entomology

State Qualifier

• Third place team - Abby Fagg, Katrina Barnett, Kelcy Flores and Katie Courville

• Abby Fagg was third High-Point individual

ATMS

• Fourth place team - Kamdyn Janak, Cy Richter, Andrew Alonzo and Reese Mangum 

Poultry

State Qualifier

• Fifth place team - Jace Ortega, Troy Shelton, Dane Vidrine, Wyatt Ball and Cameron Capistran

Floral

State Qualifier

• Second place team - Faith West, Kyndle Krause, Carsyn Govednik, Jillian McDaniel and Makayla Garcia

• Carsyn Govednik was second High-Point individual

• Kyndle Krause was third High-Point individual

Livestock

• 35th place team - Tessa Camacho, Gracyn Schrade, Tyler Flores, Brody Brookhouser and Garrison Jarzombek 

Nursery/Landscape

State Qualifier

• Second place team - Harley Jarzombek, Kasadi Neel, Kenna Klekar and Madison Beard

• Kasadi Neel was fourth High-Point individual

• Kenna Klekar was sixth High-Point individual

• Harley Jarzombek was eighth High-Point individual
