Goliad students earn spots to compete at area track meet

After a very windy day one of the district track meet, with all Field events and the 3200m run scored, the Varsity boys lead by 35 points, the Varsity girls lead by 43 points, the JV Girls lead by 55 points and the JV Boys lead by 82 points.

Punching their ticket Tuesday to the Area Track meet for the boys:

• Caden Reagan(District Champion) and Braylon Perry in the Discus

• Caden Reagan(District Champion) and Le'varius Gage in the Shot Put

• Christian Lewis, JP Reyes and Hayden Hernandez in the Pole Vault

• Layden Lara(District champion) in the long jump

• Layden Lara(District Champion) in the Triple Jump

• Dason Anderson(District Champion) and Sylvester Sierra in the High Jump

• Gabriel Aguilar in the 3200

And for the girls:

• Lila Hamilton(District Champion), Kaysa Wunsch, and Morgan Young in the Discus

• Morgan Young in the Shot put

• Kyla Hill(District Champion), Ashley Wood, and Lilian Knetl in the triple jump

• Kyla Hill(district Champion), and  Addison Zamzow in the Long Jump

• Hayle Russell(District Champion) and Maddison Matula in the Pole Vault
