Goliad High band advances to Area

The Roaring Tiger Band earned straight 1s during the UIL Regional Marching Competition in Beeville Saturday.

This advances the Goliad High band to Area which is being held Saturday in Beeville.

The Regional competition comes on the heals of the band bringing home multiple trophies from Robstown and Calallen competitions earlier this month.

In Robstown, the they won first place Drum Major, second place Percussion and first place Overall in 3A Division.

In Calallen, the Color Guard won first place as did the Precision section and as a band they won first place Overall for their division.
