Welcome to the Goliad Community

Welcome back to another outstanding school year at Goliad High School. I am honored to continue serving as your principal and excited to begin the 2025–2026 school year with renewed energy, clear purpose, and a strong commitment to excellence.

At Goliad High School, we are proud of our tradition of academic growth. Our students continue to rise to the challenge, achieving success in the classroom and preparing for bright futures ahead. Beyond academics, we also celebrate our students’ accomplishments in extracurricular activities, from athletics to fine arts to career and technical education programs — all of which continue to showcase the remarkable talents and dedication of our students and staff.

This year, we remain focused on providing extra learning opportunities that empower students to explore their passions, strengthen their skills, and take ownership of their futures. Whether through dual credit courses, certifications, or hands-on experiences, we are committed to helping each student find success and purpose.

We know that our success is rooted in partnerships. That’s why we are committed to engaging families, collaborating with community members, and creating a campus culture where every voice matters. We also take great pride in embracing the rich history of Goliad, honoring the past while preparing our students to be leaders of tomorrow.

Together, we will continue to build a strong, positive school culture that reflects the values of our community — pride, perseverance, and unity. Our students represent Goliad with heart and determination, and I have no doubt that this year will bring even more opportunities to celebrate their achievements.

Let’s make 2025–2026 our best year yet. I look forward to working alongside each of you as we continue to grow, support, and empower the incredible students at Goliad High School.

With Tiger Pride,
Charles Henke
Principal, Goliad High School
